Abstract: Personal Growth
Abstract Metamorphosis: Personal Growth
Over the past ten years, my art has undergone a significant transformation through four distinct phases, each reflecting my evolving artistic vision and personal growth.
Phase 1: Color Bland Abstract (2014–2016), my work focused on color harmony and simplicity. I sought to blend in, exploring soft contrasts and smooth compositions as I adjusted to life in a new society. The desire to merge into the background reflected my longing to find belonging and acceptance.
Phase 2: Texture & Spraying Abstract (2016–2018), I began to introduce textures and spray techniques, adding layers of complexity and movement. Building upon the foundation of Color Bland Abstract, I sought to break free from the comfort of simplicity and explore the depth and energy of more dynamic compositions.
Phase 3: Lines & Shapes Abstract (2018–2023) marked a shift toward structure and order. Through the balance of lines, shapes, and contrasting colors, I explored the tension between control and freedom. This phase reflects a deeper understanding of my artistic identity and a refined sense of balance and restraint.
Phase 4: Pale Horse Series (2023–Present) represents the culmination of this journey—a matured and emotionally charged exploration of symbolism and emotional depth. The use of controlled yet expressive forms reflects my willingness to fully embrace my artistic voice and identity. The Pale Horse Series signifies my transition from searching for identity to confidently expressing it.
